De Zorggroep

CARE HOME
De Zorggroep in Venlo has been granted additional care places on the back of De Meeuw's ability to deliver care accommodation within a short time frame. The new accommodation has now been built. Care home, De Lindelaan provides care and accommodation for 28 elderly dementia sufferers. There are four groups of seven residents living in small houses. This is also the case in Amersfoort, where a temporary homeless shelter became a permanent fixture. Kwintes was previously built by De Meeuw, which enabled us to build sustainably, redeploying used materials.

LAYOUT

So as to lessen the burden on staff and to ensure the safety of residents, home automation features heavily. Each elderly resident has a private bedroom, and a bathroom, which is shared between no more than two people.

HOMELY FEEL

The permanent accommodation has been designed on the inside and outside to create a homely feel, helping residents and staff feel at home. Moreover, the building is surrounded by the beautiful nature in the park where the small-scale accommodation is located.
